Colorado Freeride is a family owned ski and bike shop located on main street in Breckenridge Colorado. Our shop is staffed by intelligent people who are passionate about skiing and cycling. Most of our employees are between twenty-five and thirty-five years old and have been in the industry for many years. Our high quality staff does NOT mean high prices. Our skis and boots are priced at the lowest levels allowed by the manufacturers. This means that our prices are as good as you can legally find anywhere on the internet or at any other brick and mortar store. By purchasing from us you get better service for the same price and support a privately owned business.
In the Winter we focus exclusively on alpine and AT skiing. We don't sell snowboards or telemark gear, not that there is anything wrong with either. We carry a large selection of fat skis with more than 100mm under foot, as well as a full selection of skis that perform well on the groomers. We also carry an extensive selection of tecnical ski clothing from Cloudveil, Westcomb, DNA, Loki, Hestra and more. Colorado Freeride was voted the best ski shop in Summit County for 2008.
In the summer (Short as it is) we switch to bikes. First and formost we have a back shop and staff to build or fix any bike. We carry a large selection of parts so that we can service our customers quickly. We carry a large selection of clothing and accessories from Fox, Dakine, Pearl Izumi, Primal. We are the title sponsor for the local cross country race series, the Summit Mountain Challenge. If you are in town, consider dropping in and registering for a Wednesday night race.
